Abstract

Emergency situations on the road, such as traffic accidents and vehicle breakdowns, require fast response and an efficient reporting system. However, emergency reporting is often hindered by limited access, lack of inter-agency integration, and manual systems prone to delays. To address these issues, the Emergency Report website was developed—a digital platform designed to help the public report emergency conditions quickly, structurally, and accurately. The system was developed using the Waterfall model, covering the stages of requirements planning, system design, implementation, verification, and maintenance. The main features include a reporting form that captures the reporter’s identity, location, type of incident, chronology, and visual evidence upload. Black-box testing results indicate that all features work properly without errors and that the system is responsive across various devices. Additionally, the website offers quick access to emergency services through interactive buttons linked to nearby hospitals, workshops, and police stations. The system’s key contribution is the improvement in reporting speed and ease of use for the general public. It also supports more effective coordination among emergency service agencies. Nevertheless, the system still has limitations, such as the lack of real-time tracking and direct integration with official agency databases.
